Should have just torpedoed the ship and pretended to not know anything about it if russia comes asking.
Surprise, muthafucka!
I’d shit my pants so badly if I suddenly see one of these things emerge from under the water. Definitely never getting close to a beach ever again in my life.
And? Are we still pretending that Russia has a modernized military?
The Russians probably thought it was a whale!
I live close to Bangor. I was just chilling having lunch by the water when all of a sudden all the seagulls flipped out and flew away off the water. A nuclear submarine rose up out of the water. I had no idea how fucking huge those things are. Also, just ONE of them can annihilate an entire nation.
Russia lost its Navy to a country with NO NAVY….that says it all
That must have been quite the surprise for the Ruzzians to see a submarine come to the surface. Their Ships usually go the opposite direction.
“Pardon me- would you have any Grey pupon?”
Reminds me of a few years ago when China warned the Queen Elizabeth Aircraft Carrier to stay out of the South China Sea. Instead of leaving, the U.K carrier did massive ‘fuck you’ zig-zags all the way through it.
There are submarines, and there are targets.
One ping only…
I hope they noisily opened their torpedo tube doors.
,🎵Ain’t nobody got spies like us🎵
“You should go home now”
I say! What’s all this then?
“We’re not spies, just some humble fishing submarine.”
One ping only pleesh…
Finnaly some resonable reaction to Russian passive aggression.
This is like in Star Trek when 4 Klingon Birds of Prey uncloaked around 2 Romulan Ships to get them to back down
“In the most prominent event, on December 25, an oil tanker dragging its anchor, damaging a power cable running between Finland and Estonia. The vessel responsible for the incident is the Eagle S, registered in the Cook Islands, but connected with Russia. The oil tanker was also revealed to be brimming with spy equipment after it was seized by authorities.”
This is pretty crazy. Russia is really ramping up their interest in undersea infrastructure. The damage they could do could cause an internet blackout. China is doing the same to Taiwan.
“We see you, we know what you’re doing.”
The Royal Navy stepping up!!
The yank says thanks!
The problem here is that the Russians don’t care. They know that when the spy ship is sent to the UK water the UK will respond. And yet, the Russians keep doing it across EU water. Why? Because they know the West are afraid of real confrontation. Why? Because the West worry more about destabilizing Western societies (and rightly so). It’s a Russia thing to keep reminding their own citizens that their lives depend on the oligarchs keeping things in order, or otherwise the West would swoop in and steal everything they have. Russia has been playing this game for a long time.
Surfacing in a nuke ANYWHERE near an adversary warship is as close to an act of war as you get without committing an act of war. It is the most passive aggressive you get besides maybe locking an aircraft over neutral water. I don’t know if I love it or I hate it, but goddamn if that isn’t sending a fucking message in all caps.
I’m visualising the Captain popping out of the conning tower and waving his cap with a cheerful Ben Kenobi style “Hello there!”
>The submarine wasn’t named but will have been one of the five currently active Astute class attack submarines.
Very British name for a class of submarines. They’re very *astute*
Many thanks from a French citizen

The dildo of consequences rarely comes lubed, but in this case, it is full of seamen.
