Vin Diesel Vows to ‘Film the Rest’ of ‘Fast X: Part 2’ in Los Angeles After Wildfires: ‘We Will Finally Return Home’

1. >Vin Diesel announced that “Fast X: Part 2” will finish shooting in Los Angeles, the city that provided the setting for the first film in the long-running franchise, as a way to bolster a local economy that’s been hit hard by devastating wildfires.

   >“Los Angeles is where Fast and Furious started filming 25 years ago… and now Fast will finally return home,” Diesel declared on social media.

   >On Instagram, Diesel said that Jordana Brewster, his co-star in the series, reached out to him and urged him to press Universal to move the rest of the filming to Los Angeles, saying that the city “needs it now more than ever.” It’s unclear how much more of “Fast X: Part 2” is left to shoot. The film does not currently have a release date.
