    Edit to include: they also control a lot of the water that flows into the USA, along with much of the lock-and-canal system in the Great Lakes, and the entire Saint Lawrence Seaway. They could stop our upper-Midwest industries cold in their tracks. They also own a large portion of the railways in the Midwest (CP/CN).

  24. USA imports 70% of their potash from Canada. Potash is used to make fertlizer for you know… crops and food, and some other useless junk.

    I am pretty sure you can source alternative fertilizer from… all the shit Trump says in a day…

  29. I can’t help but think of the Keystone XL pipeline.

    Trump made a huge deal about the importance of a pipeline for Canadian oil, he’s spent nearly a decade trashing Obama and Biden for their decision to block it, and promising as recently as November to reverse their decision on day-1 of his presidency and get the pipeline built.

    Mere days in office later, he’s completely reversed course, and claims we don’t need it at all.

    First thing what are the oil companies doing to create an independent oil refinement and what is the timeline. If not viable we need to create a nationalized company that will do everything in house . We can’t let corporations and other nations dictate our worth.

    We can’t be independent and thrive. We need strong willed people to get it done. I don’t think Trudeau was the right person and for sure not Peepee.

    This man isn’t telling you that you won’t get any of the oil he is going to Offshore drill. He told Joe Rogan he wants to sell all that US oil to Southeast Asia.

    Elon and Vivek told you to your faces that they love H1B Visa holders. Do you know why? Tesla, Microsoft, Amazon, Boeing, meta, and a host of other “American” corporations want to pay H-1B holders $30,000 a year without having to pay for health insurance, a severance or a 401k.

    They don’t want to pay an American kid fresh out of college $40,000 or $50,000 a year and have to pay insurance or retirement on top of it.

    They instead will abuse the Visa system and get somebody here to do it for cheap.

    Amazon is pulling out of Quebec because they don’t like the labor unions.

    If we don’t get Lumber and crude oil from Canada all that means for tax paying American citizens is that our prices will go up for homes and at the pump because most of our domestic oil supply is exported, and most of the oil we use at the pump, and lumber we use comes from Imports. Again why? Because our domestic consumption outpaces our domestic Supply.

    If Canada retaliates with their own tariffs or changes our trade agreements, that means all the US citizens in the agriculture sector are about to get boned again just like they did the first time around under Trump because of retaliatory actions.

    You kept blaming Biden for expensive groceries completely ignoring that China refused to buy agricultural export products from America that were already set aside by our Farmers to sell to them.

    Because Donald had Elon Zuck and Bezos at his inauguration seated above his cabinet, we know who he is interested most in helping, namely the billionaires.

    I sure hope you guys enjoyed your anti-woke agenda victory, because being able to be assholes to Gay and trans people or the immigrants is not going to pay your bills or help your families.
