I am sending it for a UK passport application
and attached this document but they have said this is not it
Can someone please help me and show me what exactly is the birth certificate document?

  1. This is an extract from the register of the registry office (Standesamt), not a birth certificate.

  2. I used this exact document for all my bureaucratic matters in Australia when a birth certificate was needed and it was always accepted.

  3. A birth certificate would say geburtsurkunde and would be printed in a plain white a4

  6. This is equivalent (from content and issuer) to a Geburtsurkunde with the extra that it is multilingual, the pure Geburtsurkunde is German only.

    If the really need the German document you can get it from the same place as the document you have. Online order should be possible.
