  1. important part:

    >Rheinmetall has offered full technology transfer and design authority for the Lynx platform, supporting Italy’s goal of local production and future variant development.

one major advantage of ordering from a German company has always been that if you order enough, you will get local production and tech transfer no problem.

So yes, some profit will go towards Rheinmetall Germany, but especially with the additional Leonardo and Iveco partnerships, the majority of the value chain will be fully Italian.

  2. Now I want to know why they chose the Lynx over the Puma.

  3. Lynx to be the first euroIFV in the making

    >Major General Francesco Olla emphasized the importance of partnerships, noting that no single European nation can afford such a complex program independently

Hell ya, we aint stupid no more

  4. And that’s how we should spend the money, in european countries. Sure Trump will be happy with NATO countries increasing their spending like this!

  5. Rheinmetall trying to own the IFV market

US Rheinmetall Branch is still 1/2 bidders for the Bradley replacement

  6. Anyone know why this isn’t a tank? It’s got tracks, a turret, I don’t get it.

  7. Zalaegerszeg will be going with full steam again, it looks like.

  8. Ok…. That’s a lot of armoured vehicles…

Looks like Italys not wanting to get caught out with shit equipment this time round.

  9. Today Crosetto woke up and said “you know what, i’m not gonna be ministry of defense, i wanna be ministry of war”

  10. Pole here – Italy is also going to get technology transfer. I’d be down to send my president to suck Scholz’s cock to make sure that deal goes through. Otherwise I’d still rather buy from Koreans or Americans – as Korean technology is very cost effective, while American is simply superior plus gives us that sweet freedom protection. Although we will see how that goes under Trump, probably my comment is going to age like milk lmao
Edit: It’s great to see EU boosting it’s military that’s actually made in house!

  11. Awesome news! Seeing the new way of fighting in the Ukraine with cheap drones, Europe will be strengthened a lot by this. Of course there has to be done even more but this is a step in the right direction. Production in Europe ✅ increase of production facilities in different countries ✅ no money for the US✅

  12. Russia in full swing, Italy exchanging arms with Germany.

    /sweats in Polish/

(yes it’s an sarcasm, good job Italy!)
