DB ticket just disappeared.

I had bought a ticket that origianlly would set off from erfurt at 23 o'clock. I had to transfer trains 3 times. The day before departure i got an email informing me that the first train would have a delay. Which meant i could not catch the rest.
So i used the db navigator app to change my ticket to another one that would depart at bin the morning. The first ticket check was fine. Then during the second check my ticket just disappeared. It got hidden in previous trips even though my trip wasn't over. Was weird but when i opened up my ticket it was the old one i originally bought, even though it clearly said 7:30 on the thumbnail? Sorta thingy. And when i explained this to the conductor, she claimed the original train had no delay after pulling out some sort of device. Does this usually happen? Or did my ass forget confirming whatever i needed to, to exchange tickets.
