  1. Beating Nazis! There was a time it was legal to shoot them.

  2. I remember when indicators were a standard feature included in cars

  3. Taking your own glass bowl to the chippy and them putting mushy peas in it, rather than plastic tubs that get thrown away.

  4. I have a 10 minute drive to the mechanics today. I saw no fewer than three cars pull out without indicating. Wasn’t even rush hour.

We have AI now. Let people upload dashcam footage of these clowns. If the same reg is detected not indicating five times in the space of a year, instant £50 fine.

  5. Not being blinded by cataract cannons on the front of vehicles

  6. Women saying “thank you” when i hold a door open for them.

  7. Putting litter in a bin instead of throwing it on the floor

  8. Punctuating conversations with pauses rather than expletives.

  9. Meeting people in pubs/social events instead of dating sites.

  10. So, so true.

I also miss people putting those little dividers on shop tills. Thing of the past it seems!

  11. Watching the TV testcard in the afternoon when there was no afternoon telly

Watching the little white dot fade away when you switched the TV off at the end of transmission

Watching Blue Peter when I got home from school

  12. Okay grandpa, back to bed…People indicating, pfft, what nonsense.

  13. Swearing. Back then it was practically a national sport, not just a TikTok trend.

  14. People Picking up their dog shit off the pavement

  15. It wasn’t a British tradition but more an indigenous people tradition, the world wasn’t a pay to win game.
