  1. Always wondered about this. A few years ago, I got a nasty shock from a plug. It was a perfect situation to get shocked; the plug was halfway into the socket and behind a desk, so I blindly grabbed the two bottom-prong things. I let out a weird, involuntary noise, but it didn’t even hurt that much, as far as I remember. I’m sure this question is stupid, but why didn’t that kill me?

  2. Watched without sound and could predict the accent by the subtitles 🤣

  3. they will blame Everton for this as well i can already see it….6 points deduction monday

  4. Great video. He strikes me as the (Youtubing Solicitor) Terry Gorry’s younger, practical brother. Like Terry, he drinks tae but, unlike Terry, he has a full head of hair.

  5. “Going to make a video about something that’s quite serious and could kill you, probably should start by pretending to drink out of my empty mug”

  6. Why did he need to take a swig of an empty cup before talking ? …….Monster

  7. Voltage has little to do with killing you. It’s the current that kills. High-voltage can allow the electricity to arc to you if you get too near, so the advice is still correct.

  8. Excellent message.. despite the subtitles.

Just to add you shouldn’t touch wires that may appear to be communication lines either e.g. virgin media. ESB warned me one time that they can even spark.

  9. As sound as it is, we probably shouldn’t be taking advice on electricity lines from Steve Davis

  10. If this guy told the news I would actually watch it . It’s real schtuff from an expert , love it

  11. Volts can be low or high.

It’s amperage (current) that will kill you

  12. This is the subtitle equivalent of “Don’t dead, open inside” from The Walking Dead.

  13. I can’t believe we live in a time where people, old enough to use a smart phone need to be told that electricity is dangerous.
