It’s a particularly bleak Saturday, but I’ve got front seats for it on top of a double decker bus!

  1. Love a front seat on the top deck. Watching all the cars disappear from view on the bottom corner.

  2. Honestly I’d spend all day here. Take a blanket, have a nap. Bliss.

Edit: is it Witton park on the right?

  3. Never thought I’d say this but it’s beautiful blue skies here in Manchester

  4. Put it phone down and take your responsibility as a pretend bus driver seriously

  5. Has it got the mirror on the ledge so you can stare directly down it at the bus driver making stupid faces.

  6. I’m currently dealing with a toddler who is teething and having a classic ‘terrible twos’ period of meltdowns so this is actually incredibly therapeutic!

  7. I’ll be amazed if I just identified this but is this Preston Old Road, outside Witton Park? Potentially on the 152?

  8. Turn the wipers on it’s dangerous to drive like that !

  9. The human equivalent of a dug with its heid oot the car windae

  10. Rules of the bus;

Single decker; cool kids to the back.

Double decker; cool kids to the front

  11. First time I took my American wife to the UK I took her on a double decker, she loved it.

  12. Ah raining again this is Definitely in Britain

  13. front seat of the DLR out of Bank is where it’s at – you can pretend to be the driver – kids love it

  14. Got a little nostalgia rush from this

Need to visit the uk again asap 🥹

  15. I think where I live has its own climate from the rest of the UK. Enjoying cloudless skies, sunny and beautiful. I can walk around without a big coat on..

  16. Before cameras there used to be a periscope window there for you to stare at the driver

  17. This is as British as it gets. All it needs to finish the image is a can of tango and some beef hula hoops.

  18. Pulling on the bar/handrail at the front pretending to steer it

  19. It’s brilliant sunshine here (Angus), but a cold breeze. Compared to yesterday it’s wonderful

  20. This happened a few years ago but I haven’t sat at the front since…
Was on the bus to Brighton from Kent, couldn’t sit at the front (my usual spot) because a group of elderly people were there, so I was about halfway back. 20 minutes in, a branch came smashing through that window, glass everywhere. Thankfully only a couple of people ended up with minor injuries. Scary as fuck though!

  21. Where are you ? I’m London and it’s blue skies , not a cloud around
