It’s a particularly bleak Saturday, but I’ve got front seats for it on top of a double decker bus!

Love a front seat on the top deck. Watching all the cars disappear from view on the bottom corner.
Honestly I’d spend all day here. Take a blanket, have a nap. Bliss.
Edit: is it Witton park on the right?
Hope you’re pretending to drive the bus
Smack that up on /r/raining
Niice
Never thought I’d say this but it’s beautiful blue skies here in Manchester
And if a double decker bus…
Put it phone down and take your responsibility as a pretend bus driver seriously
Has it got the mirror on the ledge so you can stare directly down it at the bus driver making stupid faces.
I’m currently dealing with a toddler who is teething and having a classic ‘terrible twos’ period of meltdowns so this is actually incredibly therapeutic!
I’ll be amazed if I just identified this but is this Preston Old Road, outside Witton Park? Potentially on the 152?
Turn the wipers on it’s dangerous to drive like that !

The human equivalent of a dug with its heid oot the car windae
Guys literally only want one thing:
Rules of the bus;
Single decker; cool kids to the back.
Double decker; cool kids to the front
Why aren’t you simulating driving noises?!?
I love being on the bus in shit weather. So cosy.
First time I took my American wife to the UK I took her on a double decker, she loved it.
Nice and Sunny in South East Wales.
Yay! You can drive the bus!
Sunny here
Sail safely, Cap’n 🫡
Ah raining again this is Definitely in Britain
front seat of the DLR out of Bank is where it’s at – you can pretend to be the driver – kids love it
Have you looked down the driver’s periscope
Imagine beautiful day by U2 playing
Bus W*nker!
Livin’ the dream!
Got a little nostalgia rush from this
Need to visit the uk again asap 🥹
I think where I live has its own climate from the rest of the UK. Enjoying cloudless skies, sunny and beautiful. I can walk around without a big coat on..
Before cameras there used to be a periscope window there for you to stare at the driver
what a feeling
This is as British as it gets. All it needs to finish the image is a can of tango and some beef hula hoops.
This is peak UK. God, I’m miserable!
Turn your wipers on!
/s for those that won’t get it!
Pulling on the bar/handrail at the front pretending to steer it
In my household we call this the flying seat.
It’s brilliant sunshine here (Angus), but a cold breeze. Compared to yesterday it’s wonderful
This happened a few years ago but I haven’t sat at the front since…
Was on the bus to Brighton from Kent, couldn’t sit at the front (my usual spot) because a group of elderly people were there, so I was about halfway back. 20 minutes in, a branch came smashing through that window, glass everywhere. Thankfully only a couple of people ended up with minor injuries. Scary as fuck though!
Nice and sunny here in east midlands
Where are you ? I’m London and it’s blue skies , not a cloud around
