  1. i mean, i fucking beg you kellogg, MAKE THIS HAPPEN!!!!

  2. Were going to bomb moscow and make russia pay for it!

  3. Earlier this week we got the freeze on international aid, but we also got this announcement that gives some hope. It’s hard to decide which way this is going overall given the contradicting positions, but I’m actually inclined to believe this will happen for the following reasons:

    1) it doesn’t “cost” the US anything, which has been the primary (misinformed) objection from his base

    2) he gets to funnel a *lot* of money (almost as much as his AI infrastructure plan, but in a lot quicker period of time) to his DIC buddies, but also would legitimately boost local employment rates and economies of US based factories (either for de novo production orders, or for replacements for weapons pulled out of weapons stocks) generally in red areas, helping his base and their congressional representatives.

    3) Trump legitimately seems to be taking a more reserved and nuanced approach to Ukraine than anticipated, and more importantly seems to be getting ticked off at Putin. This would let him be the stronger strong man

    4) if he pulls it off, he gets to say “Biden could’ve done the same thing in the two and a half years he was involved, but didn’t.” And Trump won’t pass up an opportunity to smear Biden

So overall, unless he pivots to a quick deal (which is quite possible, especially given Putins new desire to “talk,”) this actually could be something that comes to fruition, and a turning point in the war– if AFU gets modern US equipment, and a lot of it (300B is A LOT of money if they act on assets themselves, but even if just the revenue, 3B could still provide a transformative impact) in a short period, they’d be able to equip the ten or dozen brigades they say they’d like to equip (though without mobilization changes, I question whether they can fulfill the manpower needs), and if they can do it before Russia mobilizes and rebuilds their stocks, they would have a significant advantage).

  4. Please!🙏. Give them the tools they need….. and they will win the war

  5. Kellogg may have said that. Every piece of news out the the US suggests that they are into a downward spiral towards curling up in a ball and shutting out all their former friends. Let’s find a better way than to rely on the US for real ongoing support.

  6. Sounds great on the surface but this is way harder to do than it looks.

It’s not like the whole $300B is sitting in a Wells Fargo account in Florida or something.

It’s spread out in multiple countries each where local and EU courts need to rule on things.

Might be easier to just pass another $100B funding bill in Congress or arrange a $250B Lend Lease program.
