  1. > Nigel Farage’s Reform UK and Kemi Badenoch’s Tories want the NHS to fail so they can seize power from Labour, Wes Streeting has warned

I could easily believe they would want the NHS to fail for their pure enjoyment of seeing people suffer, any political benefits would just be a bonus.

  2. Tbh i don’t really trust Wes either, feel like everyone’s eyeing it up atm.

  3. No shit, they want to privatise it so they can give it all to their capitalist mates. the Tories set in motion years of managed decline, they’ll be desperate to finish the job. Starmer needs to buck his ideas up.

  4. They want it to fail so their American buddies can walk in with their idea of healthcare

  5. People need to start treating Farage like a politician. What’s his policy on the NHS? Does he even have one…

  6. Well its lucky they have no control over it then. Its all on you bubble boy.

  7. If this was anyone other then Labour saying this it would be fearmongering.

  8. Luckily we have a Labour government to demonstrate to us all how amazing the NHS can be!

Maybe it can resurrect some of the [4million](https://avoidabledeaths.co.uk/) people it has killed over the last 2 decades.

  9. If it was privatised , salaries would stay the same. People always argue that US don’t have free health care so salaries should be high😇.

  10. NHS has already failed, we are literally an outlier when all of our neighbours and closest allies have gone for a semi private model with greater success. The rest of the world looks at us as mental as we worship our deranged health service in the same way everyone looks at America as mental with their love of guns. Labour have been making this stupid argument for decades and after 14 years of Tories they still didn’t sell it off, why not? Because they dont want to, tories support this failure of a health system too.

  11. The easiest way to save the NHS would be to have a policy of UK citizens only. Then there would be 30% less demand on beds.

So no non-UK citizen can get treatment on the NHS and by law they would have to have insurance? So the private sector can pick it up what’s the best of both worlds!

  12. All three are dickheads tbh. Farage, Badenoch and Streeting in descending order of dickheadedness

  13. Streeting however wants it to fail so his private equity buddies can make thousands off the penny, and then turn our healthcare into the hellscape that is the US.

  14. Weasel Wes Streeting wants to privatise the NHS as well. He’s bought and paid for by American private healthcare providers.

  15. The right just curled out shits on everything they could in order to say look it’s shit.

  16. Wes Streeting is a bare faced liar. Anyone who cares to look. Will find that the is a unbroken lineage of what is being done to the NHS going right back to Tony Blair.

The liebour party are engaging in direct continuation of the disaster of private public funded projects of the last labour Gov. Which was continued by the Tories because they want to offload NHS as well. And fill their boots.

Tony Blairs SpAd on health Was Simon Stevens. After which **Simon Stevens** went to become **CEO of Global Development at American Health insurance and care provider UnitedHealth** (In the news recently when on of their current CEO’s was assassinated).

After being at UnitedHealth Simon Stevens Returned to UK and Became CEO of NHS England under Cameron’s government.

Whilst CEO of NHS England. Simon Stevens made the Five year forward plan and the ten year long term plan for the NHS. A lot of which including GP care was a copy and paste from UH primary care model.

This is the plan. The is no change under the current labour government. Other than to get the uk tax payer to foot as much of the soft costs of dismantling the NHS as possible and underwriting private health care. To pick over the scraps it wants.

  17. LOL, Labour usually save this nonsense for when they’re in opposition. They must be desperate to bring it our while in power.😂

  18. All he has to do is nothing and it’ll fail all by itself.

Any attempt at change and people will bitch about privatization. How do you fix a failing system that is untouchable? Its already pathetic. 2.5 years I need to wait for my assessment ffs.

I don’t get how they can on the one hand whine about how the NHS is dying, and on the other, allow rampant illegal immigration? Like bro, what do you expect from people using services without paying taxes?

  19. Mr Streeting took £140,000 from a healthcare outfit. He wants the NHS to fail too.
How can he possibly do his job properly…?

  20. True. And unless Blue Labour shift to care focus instead of target it’ll go that way.

  21. at least if there’s a problem they will let the public talk about it.

all labour seem to do is police the response and ignore the problem that caused it

  22. I’m pretty alarmed that the NHS might never be good and might actually not exist for the rest of my lifetime

  23. So maybe Wes should fund it instead of divvying it up among your private healthcare backers then…?

  24. He’s talking nonsense. Stop the immigration, only our people should get appointments. Then the waiting lists would halve no doubt

  25. The NHS is already failing, has been since PFIs in 1997

  26. Notice how Tories and Farage always refer to introducing an ‘American style’ health system. Scumbags

  27. I’ll let you all in on a secret.

Right wingers want all governments to fail so private enterprise can profit off of everything.

The only guardrails we have is government regulations.

  28. It won’t massively surprise me if the next Tory government just openly ends free at the point of use. They won’t say that, but they’ll just do it (and probably exempt pensioners).

  29. I would absolutely love Starmer to stand down at year 4 and hand over to Wes for next Labour Leader. He’d walk all over these Right-Wing idiots. He’s got the strength of conviction, personality and speaking ability to properly go for it.

  30. So Wes Streetong won’t be “using the private sector to reduce waiting times” anymore?

  31. Why are we just making stuff up to be mad about now lol

  32. Funny, that sounds exactly like how Labour act about the NHS in Scotland.

  33. This is weird. I thought WS was one of the more sensible among the Labour cabinet (no great achievement I’ll admit), but now he starts coming out with this tinfoil-hat conspiracy-bonkers stuff. Maybe it was solely for the benefit of the immediate audience, but he must have known it would get noticed.

  34. Glad Streeting has started to listen to the same message he’s been ignoring for years now.

  35. Practically every member of every Tory cabinet since 2010 have published articles or papers in their baby tory years explicitly laying out how they want and plan to do exactly this.

If this headline is news to anyone, you should have gone to specsavers.

  36. As if anyone would believe Wes Sterling ffs…he’s a moron

  37. >We have X days to save the NHS

This has been a campaign slogan for Labour since at least the 1970s.

  38. It can’t fail if it has already failed, so there, nah, nah.

  39. Then Streeting needs to get off his arse and sort the NHS out.. He should stfu about more prviatisation for a start. Losing the NHS would be a biger disaster than Brexit: it’s no surprise that Farage and Badenoch love the idea, but Labour???

  40. Labour will lose power by failing on the economy or immigration moreso than the nhs and this is clearly reform and the Tories’ priority
