First, the sociopaths. They are smart, but not decent. They spread lies, exploit and manipulate people, distribute misinformation to Type 2, etc.
Second, the dupes. They may or may not be decent, but they are certainly fools. They swallow everything Type 1 produces with few questions. They can be trained to hate a word that they can’t even define, eg. “woke.”
Right wing rat fuckers pushed the idea that Nazis were not right wing for years, and it paid huge dividends. Among various insanities they trained the right wing voters to believe that the Nazis were socialists. So that they can deny being Nazis, despite overwhelming evidence.
That was only made possible because of each of these Republican types; sociopaths and dupes working “together.”
