Hi, I am thinking to get this parking meter. I wonder if anyone have had a good experience with it ? Or anything better out there you may recommend? Thank you

  1. Just get the blue manual one, a lot cheaper and does the trick

  2. I have a similar one, though not that particular model. Can highly recommend. It’s great.

  3. They are great, until you don’t notice the battery running out and get fined.

    Still use one, love it.

  4. I’ve tried multiple models and prefer this exact kind, since it uses regular AAA batteries. I feel the models using button cells are constantly running out of juice.

  5. I do wonder about those parking meters, they rely on honesty. But what’s stopping someone from changing it later? I very rarely see those parking warden folks patrolling

  6. I have one. It has also daylight saving. It is great.

The problem is that it does not alert, when battery runs out.

  7. I have a similar one, they are so useful.

Only time i’ve ever got a parking fine since was when my parents visited and had a rental. fuck rental companies for being too cheap to put in a basic 20 euro device…

  8. Park lite 2 is the best automatic parking disc.

  9. I have the needit parking meter someone shared a link to earlier, it has been an absolute lifesaver. I have adhd so no matter how much i try to remember to set a manual parking meter, i have forgotten it many times.

I can literally be thinking “remember parking meter” as i am pulling into the parking lot, yet when i actually have parked, that thought has been fully wiped from my brains, and unless i notice a traffic sign with the parking disk icon, or some other notice, i will completely forget it.

An electronic one doesn’t need me to remember it each time and mine has a little light that comes on when it’s low on battery.

  10. Essential gear IMO. Personally I prefer the park micro model as it has the smallest footprint on the windshield
