Yeah good luck with that. Chicken and egg mixed up when it comes to NATO expanding in many cases, if the sudden jump over the last two weeks of discussions about joining weren’t a massive clue that they’ve got this stuff ass-backwards
‘Stop the war’ nut jobs at it again. They still see countries Choosing what they want is wrong if if that is joining NATO. NATO is still the main problem in the Ukraine invasion……instead of Putin.
Countries want to joim NATO for defense now!
They not forced to join, Russia has decided to be the big bad red bear again and notngive a fuck about war crimes, bombing refugee colums and more.
Thus logically they decide to join the alliance who job precisely is to defend Europe with ernough manpower, firepower and forces to oppose them.
Putin could easily of isolated and potentially taken out Latvia, Estonia etc right now if not in alliance.
No one seperately could fight Russia 1×1 and have numbers to win. As an alliance we have 3.5 million soldiers, 20’000 aircraft and 2000 warships of various sizes. Add joining nations intrested that might increase to nearer 4 million.
Together we are strong ernough for the Bear to not want that fight.
Had we not formed such an alliance, Russia would have tried.
I’m sure Putin is having a long hard think about his choices after this.
