  6. It’s not just arsenal fans that hate him in fairness. He has no business being a referee at any level after his serious mistakes after terrible lapses of judgement chasing blood money.

  7. Maybe PGMOL should focus on providing better training and less on complaints about critics. Most of the critics I’ve heard of the tackle have since changed their stance, like PGMOL has some vice grip…

  9. I’m afraid that the point blank refusal to admit ever getting anything wrong is only going to exacerbate this problem. Howard Webb may believe that he is protecting his staff by eradicating accountability, but if people feel there is no justice they will just get angrier and angrier.

Threats are not acceptable but the sheer stats piling up against him when reffing certain teams are getting harder and harder to explain, most reds given, with the average time of the reds also being much closer to an average of 45 mins in for Arsenal, vs the PL average of 85 mins is spoiling games, he has not given a single red card to city, the team he has reffed the most

  11. I wonder why we have shit refs, when if one makes a decision a fanbase disagrees with leads to them threatening to kill him and his family, and others agreeing its deserved because they also disagreed with the decision.

    I wonder why the pool of candidates is so small, a real mystery…

    Honestly, anyone agreeing with threats to someone’s family because of a football match need to turn off their Internet for a few weeks and seek some help. That includes anyone who can’t condemn the threats without then using the word “but”
