Ukrainians slap ERAs while orcs slap rubber plates
Does Ukraine manufacture their own ERA? They seem to have a lot of it
It appears at least one machine gun (“*commander’s gun*”) at the left forward hatch has been removed, possibly also the lateral smoke dispensers.
As both would provide a last-ditch defense against incoming FPV drones and loitering munitions, these likely aren’t considered effective defense mechanisms by the AFU engineers that conducted the upgrade.
Make sense. Both sides target recovery vehicles.
So as a german engineer(-ish) in the defence(-ish) sector but also fellow NAFO/NCD fella, I dont know if I should be disgusted or aroused…
EVERYTHING the ukrainians make and put to good use, looks so god damn much better than whatever rusted out old junk the russians have! Probably functions more as intended too:)

Ukraine’s equipment is looking better and better and Russia’s is looking more like it was made for a Mad Max film.
If fuel was cheap, make a great daily driver to drop kids at school and do the shopping 🙂

perhaps a 2nd layer of slats over the exhaust ?
may be enough to avoid a rpg into the exhaust/ engine?
