nice work Sweden. This is the way forward, be interesting to see what they find on board the ship.
I’m glad we’re all collectively growing some balls, even if it’s just a minor step forward
It’s crazy that the world has just allowed this to happen. We, as in “the west”, have gotten too used to our stability that we’re willing to let blatant war-like acts go unaddressed in the name of unjust peace.
Great rundown video of russia being russia.
the Washington post…”the Eagle S cable damage was an accident”. Thats premium fucking bullshit. Thats Bezos’ paper and he went to Mar Lago & bent the knee. His paper is a trump mouthpiece and he’s being very generous to Russia. Even Finland’s investigators have dismissed the Post’s piece as bullshit.
Sitting in my armchair over here I would say that they would not have seized it unless they found solid evidence.
Why do these captains think they can get away with it? Why is anyone insuring ships traveling from the Russian port?
I doubt they were dragging their anchor for most of a day. So I think they slowed down to 6-7 knots long before, so the tracking data would not show them slow down from dropping the anchor. Then, when they got to where they wanted to drag, they dropped it and went back to cruising power, maintaining 7.5 knots or so.
Then, it came time to pull the anchor back up and the motor couldn’t handle it, so they were forced to stop to pull it up, which is what gave them away and got them seized.
Hope we won’t screw up the investigation this time.
Dirty Russian operatives and ships need to start disappearing and the West should just shrug.
And it’s not the U.S. that questions wether this is sabotage, but anonymous sources according to washington post. They were respected once, before they were bought by Bezos and now the journalists are fleeing and they write speculative fiction just as much as they report actual news.
Fuck them ships and the FSB-agents behind them. Seize them, and take the money from the seized russian assets. Use them to buy weapons for Ukraine.
