  1. It’s a pity things have been let get so bad here 😓

  2. Kind of historic how widespread the damage is. Didn’t some contrarian TD also complain about the red warning hysteria this time around too?

  3. For a storm that surpassed a record set in 1945, it’s unsurprising it’ll have long lasting effects. Congrats to ESB getting 500,000 of the 750,000 back up and running so fast.

  4. It’s a little jarring living on the border and seeing everything else across the river be bright.

  5. This is the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the climate crisis, anyone who has been paying attention has an idea of what we are in for. Buckle up.

  6. GAA club in town here has opened its sports hall and set up multiple tea/coffee station and tables of microwaves, and letting people charge devices. Also letting people use the shower facilities.

  7. Shouldn’t this have happened on Saturday, maybe even late Friday. Today is better than nothing, but not great.

  8. just got an update via text from ESB… 04/02/2025.. that will be 12 days without power…
