  1. Yeah, the pretense from the election is gone, and now the aristocrats do whatever is best for them, and their cohort.

The colours and sides are just a very well orchestrated but of reality T.V,  strewn with culture war nonsense to keep you fighting each other and not causing anyone in power any fuss.

    This is always the way.

  2. Both senators from my state makes me sick
    They should change parties

  3. Because many people that run as Democrats do so in order to win elections. Not because they actually are Democrats in terms of their core beliefs & desires. Those things are frequently unknown to the voters.

I live in California so I am quite used to this phenomenon.

  4. Fetterman spreading that ass as quick as he has was sort of unexpected I guess.

  5. As a voter in Pa I can safely say Fetterman has lost all support from me.

  6. Beyond not showing up to vote, at this point, why is the confirmation Democrats’ fault? Everything that happens now is entirely the fault of republicans.

‘Why are you making me beat you?’, abuser says to the abused.

  7. Fetterman doesn’t surprise me in the least but Tim Kaine does a bit

  8. One reason could be that they have a deal with another rep if they vote for her they will vote for some other thing they are pushing

  9. Democrats may be retarded, but I’m not blaming them for this one. This is all Republicans. Along with every other pick that gets confirmed

  10. Fetterman was a ” unsure” running candidate who clearly has made HIS DECISION to flop over. Voting is the way to show you’re unhappy!

  11. The bigger issue is, like most of Trump’s picks, she is totally unqualified for the job. The high point of her resume is being governor of one of the least populated states in the country. That makes Trump, Hegseth, and Noem, the triumvirate responsible for the security of the nation. If that doesn’t terrify you, you aren’t paying attention

  12. Neoliberals would rather let Trump and his shitheels win than let actual progressives be in charge of anything.

  13. They are all in the same team… it’s like pro wrestling… The two biggest guys who hate on each other at every dark show, pay per view and network tv event ride in the same van to the next sh@t show on the itinerary.

  14. Elissa Slotkin voted twice for her, impressive. Michigan needs to look into Peter’s and Slotkinapparently

  15. Not surprised Fetterman was one of the yes votes. He’s quickly becoming a Trump suckup.

  16. Cowards all. At least Fetterman is stroke damaged.

  17. Easy. Because Hegseth got in as SecDef. Once he’s done purging the DoD, the executions will begin. The Day of the Rope approaches. Trump said repeatedly that he would use the military against “the enemy from within.”

  18. Looks like Andy Kim is going to start working on amassing gold bars. I had good hopes for him. Democrats are turning into suspected criminals until caught, then they’re confirmed criminals.

  19. Not a single Republican would cast a vote for Jesus if he was picked by a Democrat. Why are we supporting their nutjob picks?

  20. Honest question- without these votes is she getting confirmed? If it doesnt matter whether they vote yes or no, then they will think about what will keep them in the good graces of the people that vote for them.

Some dems come from red states, just like deep red kentucky has a democrat governor. If voting no means the voter base decides to vote them out, and voting no has no meaning or effect, then they could vote yes and not have to deal with it.

Theres a lot more that goes on beyond red v blue and our political system and picking battles etc. trump isnt going to appoint good people to his cabinet and this person *might* be the least worst candidate. Its a lot more than just a headline
