  8. So, a nice private setting that could not be observed by the people for whom the promise made was. That’s the official’s swearing-in… a promise to the people and the constitution.

    But, Clarence Thomas was involved. So, of course, the event had to be tone-deaf while spitting in the face of the people and the constitution.

    Each of these fools adds their own special insult to democracy everywhere they show up and every time they open their mouths. Their consistency is almost impressive.

  23. 40 minutes late to the swearing in by the VP? Her excuse was that she couldn’t find her father’s Bible that she always uses for these kinds of things. First, that’s probably not the real reason. Second, if it is, she waited until the day of the swearing-in to be sure she knew where the Bible was? Third, she thought having that particular Bible was more important than greatly inconveniencing the vice President of the U.S?

    So… probably lying, but if not, incompetent, self-centered and rude. For Noem, either or both make sense.
