In the British royal family, it is frowned upon for a divorced bride to wear a “too white” dress on her wedding day, especially when the ceremony occurs in church.
She apparently also threw a fit over not being able to wear the tiara she wanted as Queen Elizabeth II told her to choose another, more appropriate tiara for the occasion.
The Queen also questioned Meghan’s decision to wear a veil, given that she was entering her second marriage.
