PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) — A total of eight people were injured after a car hit a crowd of people celebrating the Eagles’ NFC Championship win on Sunday night.
It happened just after 9:30 p.m. at Broad and Spring Garden streets in the Spring Garden section of Philadelphia.
Police said some of the people who were injured suffered fractures. None of the injuries were said to be life-threatening.
The striking vehicle was found in the 1500 block of Ridge Avenue. Chopper 6 was overhead as police investigated the silver Mercedes GLA250 that was involved.

The driver, a 26-year-old woman, was taken into custody. Her name has not been released.
