“Open to anything” means “for sale to the highest bidder”
Reform have policies? I thought they just stuck their finger in the air and went from there.
With the frequency of reporting, you’d think there were only three parties in the UK. Labour, Conservative and Reform.
I don’t care what a nazi sympathiser thinks. What ever his words his actions will be detrimental to the uk and it’s people, as we have already experienced.
As long as the correct wheels are greased I’m sure it will be above board and no kick backs, NHS on an American model job’s a good un
This is where the populists lose: force them to actually put their ideas to paper and up for scrutiny.
i for one am quite happy he keeps coming out with dumb policies, makes it so he is very unlikely to ever actually get elected.
you can pass a lot of policies but scrapping the nhs, probably isnt gonna fly
He is in it for money and money only . Him and his cronies going to make billions from selling UK health care to insurance companies
I’m actually not opposed to heavily regulated insurance based system. It works REALLY well in Germany and many other European countries.
The issue is that Farage has absolutely no intention in implementing a system that benefits the populous, he only references them because it gives his position some legitimacy. Anyone with half a braincell should be able to see that he has every intention of copying the American system and making his puppet masters lots of money.
If he wants to convince us otherwise then he needs to actually put forth a comprehensive migration plan.
The NHS is a fucking mess, it is broken as hell, but I would take a half arsed Labour plan that will likely only keep it on life support for a while longer over anything this two faced prick has to offer.
I mean its just genuinely shocking we’ve had this level of coverage and its only now people are starting to apparently even question what Reform actually stand for beyond (yet another!) three word slogan like “net zero migration”.
Doubly so given their ~~manifesto~~ contract included fun things like effectively rehashing Trussonomics, and at the same time ripping apart the civil service as an independent institution to replace it with appointed yes-men who’ll just green light that everything is definitely absolutely going very well actually.
On one hand I kind of don’t blame the public, its just a fucking shocking indictment that we have such an industry around political media in this country, with so many minor celebrities on TV every week, usually taking big six-figures salaries for their trouble, talking about the same topics over and over again year after year, and apparently are just totally incapable of communicating even the most basic pertinent facts to their viewers? Is that not like a seriously bad thing we should look more at?
One of my biggest hopes with Reform is that they can shift the Overton window on this topic and start making moving to a health insurance model a mainstream political position in the UK.
