i mean you can but i really would not recommend it. for your own safety

I had to stay for my bus for a couple of hours in bus station. I chose to walk around instead, even if it was pretty cold. As others mentioned – drunk, homeless people, etc. Not in a backpacker friendly style. Old town is right there. Better find a bar that’s open through the night if you don’t wanna pay for accomodation
Old town has some restaurants that are closed at night but may have some seats on the outside where you can rest (I did this during autumn though, not sure what it looks like at this time of year).
