Here’s my expert comment on this.
1. Too little, too late. Gear is not the most pressing issue for Ukraine in 2025. Manpower is. No investment can help the army with hundreds of thousands of official cases of desertion.
2. There’s no way Russia will allow any large scale military production in Ukraine. Russia has capabilities to strike any part of Ukraine.
3. Source of information. Questionable. Ukraine was promised “an army of drones” produced domestically. Many donated. No army of drones of which we know.
4. Corruption. Corruption. Corruption. Unfortunately Ukraine is full of corruption even now. I’m not sure all the investments will serve its purpose. I expect new purchases of real estate in Spain and Austria made by some unnamed Ukrainian individuals.
