Hello, I am currently doing an EPQ related to the introduction of the manatory plastic bag charge in the UK and its effect of general plastic consumption. I have written a survey to collect some data, it would be great if people could fill it out, thanks 🙂
An EPQ (Extended Project Qualification) is a research project usually undertaken at sixthform.

Not sure how the plastic bag charge has anything to do with how often someone purchases balloons, but ok
Done!
Suggestion for survey, a section tick box on the section on cutlery etc that is, less frequent than monthly. I have bought balloons twice in the last year and I’m sure many people get things like decorations for Christmas or birthdays, just might not be as frequent.
Done, best of luck.
Done.
Good luck with your studies mate.
Just so you know – there’s one of the buttons doesn’t work…
How often have you purchased the
following (plastic version) items since
the introduction of the mandatory
plastic carrier bag charge?
On drinks bottles, monthly can’t be selected
Good luck with the qualification!
Done, good luck!
One thing I would be interested to see, in relation to this, is how much the local council recycles, and it’s impact on single-use plastics.
In Somerset, almost everything is recycled kerbside, including batteries; small electricals, lightbulbs, tetra packs, and some clothing. I would imagine this means more people would use plastics, given how well it’s disposed of in the area.
Whereas Berkshire, they’ll only recycle your plastic bottles if the caps are off, most food packaging plastics (trays, not films), aren’t taken – the difference is phenomenal. So I’d imagine more people veer away from single use plastics there.
