Hi everyone. I hope you all are doing well.
Could you please share with me how to properly clean this type of floor? I've already tried several different kinds of cleaning products, but all leaves those spots and the floor doesn't looks like really cleaned. Thanks in advance!

  1. My 2 cents: this might be due to too much detergent used. The soap might accumulate and will appear like something was smeared on the surfaces.

  2. Step one: remove bathmats
Step two: try to remove the cat
    Step three: ?
Step four: still petting the cat, forgot to clean

  3. Looks like your cat is not happy with your work as well.

  4. Hot water(whatever temperature you can handle) + 2-3 caps full of Brennspiritus. A couple drops (yes, drops) of Spülmittel. Mop.

  5. Vileda steamer, around 70€ I think. Comes with two mops that are easy to put, looks like triangle. You can use one mop with a bit of detergent ( only tiny amount) and the other one clean so that water rinse it. Only way I managed not to have streaks anywhere.

  6. Fill bucket with hot water and cleaning fluid, dip cat in water, squeeze to remove excess, rub cat across floor in a gentle left to right motion. Repeat until floor is fully clean

  7. Thanks for asking, we have like an exact copy of your bathroom! And we also have a Tux cat so it is getting wierdly odd.

  8. Have you tried Swiffer? I have a very similar bathroom floor and it works perfectly

  9. Warm water, some drops of soft soap (Schmierseife you can get cheap at DM for example) and a mop. Dip the mop, wring it to nearly dry and mop the floor.

Bevor this belly-rub the cat and try to get the cat out of the bathroom. Otherwise you might have cat paw prints on your floor.

  10. I think you used too much cleaning product.
I clean my Fliesen with a steam mop. Without any product.

  11. Holy shit that’s a big bathroom.

I usually use a broom and then a mop to clean it. I will also twice a week use a steam mop (there’s one from Shark that I really like) to really scrub it out. But if you keep regularly using a broom and mop you don’t need to use a steam mop too much

  12. Take the cat and dip it in water. Pull it over the floor

  13. HG Tile Cleaner (extra strong) is the only cleaner I’ve found that completely gets rid of those marks.

  14. For me steam cleaner(mop) worked pretty good, without any cleaning products.

PS: your tiger is very photogenic 😀

  15. That looks like anti-slip flooring to me. You will never really get it to look clean, it will stay mat. Hot water and some sterilising agent will do. Otherwise I recommend vacuuming

  16. Mhhh… are you rinsing after washing? Perhaps it has to do with that.

  17. Smear Leberwurst on the floor.

The cat will then ensure that it’s clean.
