  3. I’m surprised that he never came out while he was alive, but as a private person, he had good reasons to guard his personal life . Still, it’s a very touching documentary and he deserves all the sympathy for all the love he brought to the world. America just wasn’t ready for the whole picture back then.

  16. As someone who is a big paul reubens and pee wee fan, he brought so much joy to so many people. To know that he felt so much self hatred about that makes me sad. I wish he felt comfortable enough to be who he was without the shame. R.i.p paul.

  19. I don’t think this posthumous biography was a good idea. Most people have a positive and sympathetic view of him looking back.

    I had no idea he was caught with actual child pornography until this discussion of this biography.

    I don’t think most people would be learning this right now if he had just died and been buried without a fuss.

    I don’t think drawing attention to the fact that he was arrested for having inappropriate content of minors and “plead guilty to a lesser offense to avoid child porn charges” is the best legacy for this man.
