1. I wish I could care about US border patrol but I can’t. The cartel are monsters but so are the border patrol. Hard to feel bad for The Galactic Empire  being attacked by Mordor.

2. The Cartels are monstrosities, for sure. But I’d almost err on the side of the Cartels here…. Besides a young and dumb coyote, I don’t see the cartels rocking the boat when it doesn’t need rocking. Their goal is making money, they have plenty of other people to shoot at….

3. Passive voice about where the gunfire originated. It was definitely the US side that shot first. If it wasn’t, it would have been plastered all over the media that Mexico shot first

4. I get the feeling that the cartel is going to regret this one. Trump is going to see this as a challenge and opportunity to come down hard to make himself look good to his base.
