And this doesn’t account for people who haven’t reported a positive antigen to the HSE…..
Oh, I thought COVID had it’s season finale already and we were on to the new WW3 show? Or is this like a multiverse thing?
It’s only 650 in hospital few weeks ago.
Heck of a concerning jump.
CLOSE THE PUBS 👍
ICU is the important number
Half the country seems to have it at the moment but nobody i know is too bad with it thankfully
It’s a bit obvious boosters have started to wear off and there’s a jump, we need to move on and live with it
Up on till 3 months ago antigen test where never included in reports, so numbers can’t really be compared previous report, aso as the virus mutates it will become easier to spread with less symptoms with can be seen given there are 1k in hospital and less then 50 in ICU.
3 months ago everyone would have been wetting their pants over that 42 and demanding a draconian lockdown.
Where is he!
These must be the highest numbers since it all started
Oh shit
ballinasloe hospital is riddled with it was 2 admitted into A&E with it last night which was already packed as it was with people in there then a full ward upstairs is closed off cause of it short staffed as well cause of it been closed off with the workers that were in it
We’ll be okay
Oh shit.
I live in London, haven’t seen covid numbers in about 2 years.
When I go back home all it’s all I ever hear about 😂
I was sick last 2 weeks, took 6 antigen tests all negative. Had covid over the Christmas and I felt 10 times worse than I did with covid. Still had to work as was negative.
Wow, 42 people. That’s significant
Who cares
Why are we still reporting these numbers?
Cases are expected to be high for the next while considering the BA.2 variant is more transmissible but, it is no more pathogenic than the BA.1 variant which is good news. ICU figures are the same and half of the hospitalisations are incidentally testing positive while being admitted for other ailments. For anyone calling for the reintroduction of masks, it would be worthless because this new variant is too transmissible so any sort of new restrictions would have minimal effect. Scotland are a wee bit behind us and waiting to remove the last of their rules on the 21st March but, yet they are experiencing the same thing as us so really looks increasingly like we need to get on with things and start living life again.

Not divisible
Wow, how unsurprising.
1,000 seems a lot in hospital?
