  7. I hate politics in this country, the answer to a problem is always blaming your opponents rather than doing something to fix it. The Tories oversaw massive backlogs in the legal system, Labour haven’t suggested a fix yet that I’ve seen. So instead they both plays games going “Your fault”, “No your fault” using the issue as a cudgel instead of a problem to solve.

  8. It doesn’t matter that he got his arse handed to him. We’re in a post-shame political world, all that matters is that he’ll be able to print his own words and point them out to his “team”. And they’ll lap them up when Kemi is bundled out and Jenrick gets to stand for leader again.

  9. The Tories spent 14 years having the media blow smoke up their arse and helping bury Labour. Now Labour have the bigger voice in Parliament and the Tories are having to face the fact that reality does not agree with their lies. Their friends in the media might still spin things their way for them, however being decimated in the elections means it is harder for them to not face some blunt criticism every now and again.
