According to a source in Hello! Magazine, the York sisters are protective daughters. A source told the outlet: “The girls take the grandchildren to visit him most weekends. They are spending far more time with him now than they have done in recent years.
“They are quite close to their father; they seem to be quite protective towards him.”
It is said Prince Andrew, who is fond of horse riding, has been seen driving Beatrice’s daughter, Sienna Mapelli Mozzi, through the park and showing her how to ride.
Sharing Royal Windsor home with his ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson, the couple often walk their five Norfolk Terriers and two of the late Queen’s Corgis in the 98 acres of land around Royal Lodge and in the gardens at Frogmore.
The £30million family home, which he continues to share with the Duchess nearly four decades after their divorce, is where he spends precious time with his family.

Royal Lodge on the King’s Windsor estate is a home he has shared with Fergie since 2003. The residence is estimated to be worth around £30million, but Royal Lodge has required its fair share of repairs over the years – with Andrew spending £7.5million on refurbishment costs since he moved in.
According to reports, Andrew will have to find his own money to front the costs of security and upkeep at the Royal Lodge which is expected to cost a small fortune, since he lost his annual funding and security from King Charles.
The Duke’s changed circumstances from public life to behind the scenes has meant he has renewed the focus on his daughters, both young mothers who are juggling careers and support for their patronages with concern for their father and also King Charles.
Beatrice’s family is set to expand in the spring, as she is expecting her second child with husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi.
The couple welcomed a daughter named Sienna in September 2021, with her arrival taking place a year after they tied the knot. Edoardo also has an eight-year-old son named Wolfie from a previous relationship.
