Again? This is the same old song and dance in different countries for over a year now. The UK lifted and reimposed lockdown, Latvia did it, Russia did it and New Zealand did it.

people refuse to wear a mask at the grocery store or stay home when they feel ill, and instead apparently want the government to shut down bars and restaurants again.
I went to Barcelona a few weeks ago, and everyone there just wears a mask when they are in public. I didn’t see people making a fuss about it, I didn’t even see signs on doors insisting that people do it—they just did. Here people sneered at me for wearing a mask in the grocery store even when it was required.
The UK is super out of sync now. Our infections are going down.
Pathetic. They have had baseline excess mortality since the spring. What does “infections jump” even mean?
