American vacationers will have another way to get to Europe in 2025 after Norse Atlantic Airways announced a brand new flight route.

The low-cost Norwegian carrier said it will be connecting Los Angeles, California, with the capital of Greece, Athens. The flight will launch on June 3, 2025, and is set to operate four times per week. Passengers will be carried on a Boeing 787 Dreamliner, and fares will start at $269.

This new route adds to Norse’s existing operations in LAX, from where the airline already offers flights to London, Paris and Rome, meaning there will now be four European destinations available via Los Angeles on Norse flights.

“We’re thrilled to be launching a new route between Los Angeles and Athens this year,” said Bjørn Tore Larsen, CEO and founder of Norse Atlantic Airways. “We expect the uptake to be positive as we offer this budget-friendly route, opening up more transatlantic options for our customers and the opportunity to explore the ancient city of Athens and rich history of Los Angeles. Our goal is to make travel accessible and affordable for everyone and this is another step in that mission and in our commitment to offer new destinations.”
