Lidl wins legal battle to open its first-ever pub

1. Going to be lots of frozen food defrosting in that bar.

3. Strange times. TIL: The world is burning and Lidl has been fighting in the courts to open a boozer in a store in Belfast since 2020.

4. Why , their beers shit unless it’s the mega strong 4 bottles and you wobble stuff

5. Whats it going to be called?

   The lathe and washer?
   Lidl arms?

6. Genuinely excited for the concept of a franchise pub that serves affordable pints.

7. Dundonald calling to the glider route now pub is declared and alcohol go down????

8. Lovely pint of Hatherwoods Bitter at the Lidl Arms.

9. Can’t wait to enjoy a nice refreshing pint of Thitcherd’s Cider with a packet of Already Possessing Salt crisps, and possibly some Dried Pig Itchings if we’re pushing the boat out. 

10. Their own brand rip offs of real beer companies is genuinely fine and cheap, no problem from me. 

11. As you walk in they give you one of those doughnuts you know has been fingered by loads of people during the day

12. If they don’t call it Pudle they’ve failed before they even started.

13. I just hope that the fig rolls return to a sensible price. If they do, I’m all for it
