  9. I know everyone’s antsy, for good reason, but it’s only been 9 days and a lot has happened. Organizing opposition takes time. Hopefully this is the start of something. Ultimately beating Trump will require Americans, broadly, to wake up and take the threat he poses seriously.

Speaking of the streets…..I watched a documentary about Christian nationalism and learned that people who want a fundamentalist authoritarian regime want Trump because the chaos he causes can lead to the nation collapsing. Then they have justification for taking over. I’m wondering what will happen if there are mass protests. My guess is martial law, the use of military use against civilians and justification for all sorts of evils. This is how we lose. I strongly feel that the best course of action is to resist without gathering in large crowds. Economic sanctions seem like they will hurt the billionaire bros the most. If everyone committed to not purchase anything except the necessities, we could drive them to end this madness. Put Trump in his place.

  11. We need to have a mass rally in New York and Washington DC. I’m talking tens of millions of people, immigrants, union workers, healthcare workers, teachers, faith leaders, government workers, everybody.

    Make it the biggest rally this country has ever seen so we can stand up to the fascists in power. The capitalists and corporations love fascism. Our country is at a brink. It is now or never.

    Instead we get endless speeches and pledges that are worth less than birdcage liners.

    If they had any balls at all, they’d end regular order in the house and senate. Deny unanimous consent. File every possible motion. Do literally everything in their power to gum up the works and halt the Republican march toward death camps.

  30. For starters they need to get rid of all the old Dem leaders and Schumer as minority leader. The fact that it took him a week to do a press conference over trump pardoning Jan6ers is embarrassing. This isn’t the 90s anymore old man.

  31. Too little, too late. This needed to be addressed on Biden’s first day. He should have arrested Trump and his pack of psychopathic hyenas, detained them in isolation until all their trials were over.

    Instead, he appointed a Republican as his AG, who dithered and slow-walked, and gave Trump a two year headstart on running out the clock. Every Democrat should have been screaming to accelerate the schedule, but they didn’t.

    NOW they want to start getting angry, when it is already far too late.
