The problem is that “Green dogma” really should include nuclear, even if its only as a stopgap measure. We can’t do 100% renewable overnight, it’s not possible. Nuclear ASAP, while still putting money into Solar and Wind (and yes, into fusion research, too)
Fracking is dead as an idea. Oil and, preferably, gas are okay for a bit but need to be phased out. The way to do that is nuclear first.
I would also mandate solar panels on new build houses.
He needs to remove the massive taxes on consumer and business energy costs asap. Easiest thing possible and benefits every person in the UK. These are stealth levies most people don’t even know they are paying. Between 15 and 30% of your energy bill is taken as tax.
