Visit by the President of Renew Europe, Valérie Hayer, and MEPs Urmas Paet and Sigrid Friis

Renew Europe President, Valérie Hayer, visited the EU Delegation yesterday alongside Renew Europe MEPs Urmas Paet and Sigrid Friis as a part of a four-day mission to Iceland and Greenland.

Renew Europe President, Valérie Hayer, visited the EU Delegation yesterday alongside Renew Europe MEPs Urmas Paet and Sigrid Friis as a part of a four-day mission to Iceland and Greenland.

During the meeting with Ambassador Ganslandt and her staff the MEPs discussed EU-Iceland relations, Arctic matters, and recent international developments.

The Renew Europe President’s trip to Iceland and Greenland is designed to bolster ties with regional partners. In Iceland the group of MEPs met with members of the Liberal Reform Party (Viðreisn), a Government Coalition party, who is a member of the Renew Europe Group.
