It’s in cova da moura, Amadora. The number 1 attraction in Portugal
Hello OP, this is the Jerónimos Monastery, also known as the Monastery of Santa Maria de Belém.
The King who ordered the continuation of this Monastery, D. Manuel I, also gave it the style, called the Manueline Style, where Gothic blends with Arab motifs and others. The Monastery started with D. João II, his brother in law, amd King of Portugal at that time.
Edit: The Monstary is Santa Maria de Blém, and not Santa Sofia as i writed before. Fast fingers. my excuses.
Gosto muito! Such a lovely place. Have been there three times in the past 10 years. I miss Lisboa so much!
