3. A bit of fckn irony when every second post is about people barely affording this cluster fck where they can’t scrape extra 30cents on fuel per liter, because hey ho fckn taxes and all.

   Then he talks of sure we got stashed 4 billion, that we might pop open to help others.

   I’m not angry that there’s cash to help refugees etc.

   It’s more of a fact there’s 4 billion stashed somewhere that will takes tax payers ripping new hole for decades to be told were to repay whatever, that they can dip into. But sure keep paying 2e a liter you sad cunts, because oh well we’ve no cash to help you.

   Not really great idea to brag about billions, when there’s people in country ordering 200l of kerosene because that’s all they can afford.

4. The invasion of Ukraine has ended up being far more costly than taking a hard-line approach on Russia in 2014 would have been.

   Say what you want about David Cameron, but he suggested removing Russia from SWIFT in 2014. Meanwhile Angela Merkel pathetically made Europe even more dependent on Russian gas while strangling the German military to save a few billion.

   Europe’s cheapness has cost us a lot more in the medium term.

6. Can we get some of that to the hospitals? We’re now seeing both covid patients (still getting plenty) and Ukranian refugees with a healthcare system that was already buckling with covid alone. I want to accept as many as we can in, but it seems there was no plan to provide healthcare for a population that’s been traumatized, forced to leave (no meds, no follow up appointments, cancelled surgeries), and at higher risk of chronic injuries (war zone, during transit, etc). It would be an absolute shame to be bringing these people in only for them to wait 20 hours in an A&E.

   The refugees are going to be used to deliberately worsen the housing crisis. We _could_ support them all, if we build enough – but the government are going to continue to ensure that we don’t.

    Putin needs to be stopped and right now the Ukrainian’s are paying the true price in their lives and their life.
