The Paris agreement has no enforcement mechanism, Trump’s withdrawal from it is purely performative, there was no obligation to follow it anyway.
The Paris agreement sounds kinda nice, but it is literally less than the least we could do to prevent or mitigate climate change. It’s an excuse for wealthy nations and individuals to point at and say, “See, we tried!”, while not having done anything.
