  1. Kind of a weird article. Azov’s flooded with applicants because it’s the most famous infantry unit in the world right now outside of special forces, and even including them it’d probably be in the top 5-10.

Makes me curious why they don’t upgrade it to a division or do more with it.

  2. I guess I’d rather choose to join a group of skilled people rather than get cobbled together into a new unit with a bunch of conscripted (“unmotivated”?) people with no prior experience.

But I did my “National Service” repairing the electric grid and power stations, so what do I know? Though Ukraine probably needs power technicians, considering Russia’s strategy of destroying the power grid.

  3. If your going to fight , fight for a unit that trains you well and cares about you. No careless meat wave forced on Azov. Fight and fight hard and stand together

  4. reports are out that recruiting efforts in moscow are down to 50 per day, and most of those are displaced and poor third world country humans being exploited. moscovia doing moscovia things.

  5. Meanwhile in RF volunteer rates are falling. They finally understand what happens to Russians who go to fight in Ukraine. Only the indebted, gamblers, alcoholics, drug addicts and mental people sign the contract now. Russia now relies on foreign troops from NK and Africa to do the dirty work. As RF are clearly running out of armoured vehicles it’s probably a very bad idea to join their army, casualty rates are not going down anytime soon.

  6. I mean that sounds like good recruiting. People join the Air Force because they want to be a pilot, oops all the pilot slots are full you’re now grounded maintenance.
