Cobh Ramblers have unveiled the signing of goalkeeper Timothy Martin from Royal Excelsior Virton.
Martin was on the books of Aubange, R.E. Virton, and RSC Anderlecht as a youth before beginning his professional career with French side Nîmes in 2020.
He later returned to Belgium, where he made 23 appearances in the second tier with Virton and gained top-flight experience on loan at RFC Seraing in 2022-23.
He has played four times for Luxembourg at under-21 level.
“I’m delighted to have signed for the club,” he said.
“When I spoke with the manager about the project it was a project that immediately made me want to be part of it.
“I can’t wait for the league to start and to be able to help the team achieve its goals.”
