I've seen other people mention how bad the admins are there but now I've experienced it first hand.

  1. I’m banned from there and I’m not even sure what I did

  2. The guy in Deadhead comics just stared at my wife when we went in. Creepy.

  3. Yeah, total fannies!

Thought the whole point of this reddit thing is to generate views and chat, but the power to ban is obviously too strong in those ones

  4. I don’t know the context here, but I was in Avalanche Records two weeks ago buying music, and talking to the really nice and friendly owner.

  5. Since the threads complaining about the r/Edinburgh mods have become a weekly thing, why not make a new sub? There should be enough people banned from or fed up with the original sub.

  6. The whole Edinburgh reddit page is the most Edinburgh thing I’ve ever seen.

  7. A reminder that subs aren’t anything official, any ****** can open one and call it whatever they want. In this case the people (and really it’s one guy behind most moderation) is a really really bad mod.

  8. I wondered why r/edinburgh2 was growing today. Had a bit of a shock when I saw 300 members haha.

    Thanks guys 🙂

  9. They are pretty terrible, tho from what I understand it’s mainly one og mod that runs the show who is a bit of a tyrant.

  10. I got banned for a comment I posted on r/Scotland talking about 6 by Nico, r/Edinburgh mods defiantly have little man syndrome.

  11. The mods are on a power trip. They are worse than the Neckbeard^TM who runs The Meadows Share on FB.

  12. So what’s with the mod then? Surely someone must know something about him/her and have a clue why they’re so ban happy?

  13. Pm’d mods:

“Hi folks, Sorry to be a nuisance. My band are playing at a charity gig at x venue on x date in Edinburgh. Would it be okay to pop a quick post up about it?”

    Mod response:

    “no”

  14. I seen them, and all very timid.

Once upon a time people would say such things to your face.

Is your point that it may hurt the feels?
