  13. My parents are conservative, but my mom encouraged me to watch this show as a teenager. I loved it. Now i am an evil woke liberal and my parents wonder where they went wrong.

  21. It is nuts to me to see how many people lack media literacy skills. People who grew up and have spent the last 40 years watching Little House on the Prairie on streaming platforms and who DIDN’T take away that kindness, empathy for others and consideration of differences were staples of that show are frankly, complete morons.

    Facebook in particular is full of people (likely a lot of bot activity) proclaiming that the netflix reboot is already dead on arrival because it will be woke. As though the actual show itself wasn’t incredibly progressive. In fact, given how far our society has regressed in the last 10 years, it’s actually still progressive for our time.
