  1. Why don’t they make the odds a lot better or just have more prizes for less money?

  2. A tax on the stupid. £2.50 for a 1 in 2,118,760 chance.

  3. OK fine I’ll take it. Can’t just leave it sitting around, it’ll go mouldy.

  4. Be your fucking self fuck everyone else but be kind and look after those who need it

  5. That’s some free national advertising for the lottery company.

They know which store it was bought. Just announce in the local news. Put a banner in the store.

  6. I’d be so annoyed not realising and then working when you didn’t need to!

  7. Sorry guys just got back from holiday, time to book another I guess …

  8. *Headbangs drunkenly with his arm outstretched saying fuck you to the everyone in the world albeit he just wants love

  9. I’d rather be laying next to the love of my life that one person who loves me individually independently indefinitely without all the shit

  10. I might do the same, actually and I’m a planner by nature. While I know they offer help, I’d want some time to get my own team of people together not affiliated with the lottery to help me figure out the most efficient way to spread it across accounts, gift it without tax consequences, and set up trusts for kids and family. I’ve got little financial literacy beyond interest rates and pension accounts and I’d want to be as informed as possible before the money hit my pocket.

  11. At the moment if I close my eyes I can believe I’ve won, but the second the ticket is checked I’ll be £83m worse off, plus the longer it goes unclaimed the better the odds.
Can sit on the bookcase for another week.
And they say the lottery is a tax on the stupid……..

  12. You never really hear much about big lottery winners anymore. Has the press just got bored or are people smart enough to know to refuse all publicity etc now?

  13. Can I PLEASE just get a tiny bit of it? Just so I can survive, be with my family, get help. No? Didn’t think so.

  14. I would hope there is interest accumulating. After 1 week at 5% it’s nearly £80k in interest….

  15. What a great day to remember I’ve not checked my ticket yet… If only I could remember where I put it.

  16. To be honest I just check it every few weeks now.

Get an email saying I’ve won a prize, log in and it’s £2.70 or £3.40.
