  1. Not an issue, not heard a peep of trouble regarding Ukrainian refugees.

  2. “They came without their children??”. People constantly casting doubt on men who cross 15 countries by foot to get here leaving their kids at home apparently don’t blink at this headline. Two tier compassion.

  3. But will they return after Ukraine and NAFO defeats Ruzzia?

  4. Wait, so Ukrainians have fled the war zone and left their children there? Or is this a new legislation for future refugees?

  5. We temporarily hosted a Ukrainian couple who ultimately decided to move on to the US with their daughter and granddaughter. Lost contact with them so we don’t know how they are feeling about that choice now.

They were no real problem to us, apart from us all getting smashed on vodka every mealtime.

  6. Ukrainians are some of the very few people who are actually fleeing war and should be considered for asylum that we are actually helping.

Although if the war doesn’t come to an end pretty quickly I can see their government quite rightly asking for any military age and fit men to be sent back by friendly nations, it’s absolutely an betrayal of your country to flee under those circumstances, imo of course.

I’d make sure my family was taken to a place of safety, and then I’d sign up to the first military unit that would take me if someone invaded this island.

  7. They should seek asylum in the first safe country they entered, which was Poland…

Ooopps, never mind, sorry wrong race.
