  5. Today I learned in another thread that William the Conqueror is known in France as Guillaume le Bâtard – William the Bastard.

  6. That’s also probably taken from his name badge or business card or something. French names are often written LAST First on some official stuff like that, but you’d never write it that way for a name tag on tv.
