Let’s be real, the bird flu did that, but given how MAGA absolutely gave Biden ZERO passes for anything out of his control, it’s only fair to blame this on Trump. When Trump left office 3 million fewer jobs than when he came in, MAGA was super understanding and blamed it entirely on COVID, ignoring Trump’s response to the pandemic. However, the MICROSECOND Biden took office, global inflation, supply chain interruptions, inflation, all of it they put squarely on his shoulders and chanted it endlessly throughout his presidency. 4 years later as markets had recovered and set new all time highs, as every metric traditionally used to measure an economy was glowing especially compared to other developed nation, they STILL were on this kick that things had never been so bad in the history of the world.
Do NOT expect them to suddenly wake from this, no matter how Trump does as president. Just as they stubbornly insisted things were worse than ever under Biden, they’ll claim things are better than ever under Trump, no matter what.
That’s going to hit South Texans so hard. The breakfast taco is its own food group here. When I had chickens, I kept my neighbors fed throughout the pandemic and the freeze when there were literal armed guards in the egg section limiting shopping to one carton. I don’t have chickens anymore (I’m so sick of eggs).
South Texas had a big ole hard-on for Jaundice Jabba the Jackass and his minions this year. Let them starve.
I blame **D**onald’s **E**xtraordinary **I**ncompetence for price increases.
There are so many Mexican restaurants that are going to close because of him. I’ve already seen the price hikes. Place near me use to sell three potato and egg tacos for 5.45, now it’s $6.75. I’ll just make my own. Once avocados and the rest of the produce goes up regular customers will change to once a month customers. And let’s not forget the staff that makes this amazing food might be gone.
