1. I find it interesting how certain posters who support a certain side in a certain war that is currently raging sometimes resort, when all their arguments have been defeated, resort to comments that why do people not have the same smoke for wars in Africa.

   But now there are, what, 4 threads up already on this sub, and they all collectively don’t have 100 upvotes and 10 non-bot comments, and all of those posters are conspicuously absent from all of them…

2. We need to give them more aid. Give them all our money. What are we going to spend it on anyway? Healthcare, social services, reindustrialization? We don’t need it.

3. It just shows how low have the British fallen whereas they were able to negotiate an end to the Rwandan civil war now they are toothless this time . It doesn’t matter whatever scraps the British can come up with from their depleted treasury if kagame gets his way and splits the Congo the rewards are just massive .
